Cost Controlling Manager, SEA

Job Requirements :

• Directs and monitors a variety of accounting activities to ensure the company's financial resources are managed in accordance with accounting principles and comply with all relevant regulations, laws and standards.
• Review financial reports and accounting statements to ensure accuracy.
• Make sure regional practice aligned with Corporate and Divisional requirements for quarter ends and yearend (including annual updates)
• Responsible for in scope accounting reconciliation review & inter-company, company profit elimination.
• Closely engage with corporate GSC finance group to rollout global policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial management principles and practices and applicable laws, rules and regulations. Make sure no obligation with local GAAP.
• Provides technical expertise and advise to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expenses budgets, understand financial reports and manage their financial responsibilities.
• CAPEX investment analysis to support site operation capacity and business growth.
• Support the audit (external / internal), annual physical inventory count arrangement

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in accounting in Accounting Finance, preferred CPA or CMA
• US GAAP experience required.
• At least 6 to 8 years of relevant accounting experience, including direct experience in a cost accounting role for a manufacturing company.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to act as a business partner and communicate with senior management.
• Proven track record of success and increased levels of responsibility.
• Self-motivated with the ability to perform at a high level in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with process improvement.
• Advanced Excel skills & proficiency in Oracle for Costing, GL PE module
• Willing to work at Kapar,Klang
